Hello all. Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog. When I became a nurse, I instantly recognized the unique and beautiful quirks of nursing culture and healthcare in general. I wanted to share stories about these “nurse abnormalities” because every day, I am in awe of how brilliant, instrumental, and extraordinary nurses are to healthcare. Becoming a nurse positively transformed my outlook on life and I hope to give back to the profession throughout my career.

Regarding formalities, I started my career as a nurse in cardiac critical care. I then transitioned to cardiac surgical critical care, ICU travel nursing, and medical-surgical ICU patients. I am currently trekking toward my Doctorate of Nursing Practice and certifications as an Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist. I am a graduate research assistant in nursing research for memory-impaired patients. I also blog and work PRN in a general ICU. No matter where I go, bedside nursing will always have my heart and I am honored to be included in the nursing profession.

Now lets chat about some Nurse Abnormalities.
